Mallow Flower Fairy

Isn't she lovely!!! She's been hiding in my cupboard ... along with the rest of her friends .. for months. I've stashes of backing papers that I never think of using so found this Laura Ashley one and matched it up with some purple card. I chalked round the edges of the base cream card and finished off with the usual ribbons, bow and pearls .. and before you say leaves aren't cream .. they didn't look right in green!!! LOL!!!
Have a nice weekend.
Flippin' Groceries

Another brilliant Flippin' Woman from La Pashe.
This is me every Saturday afternoon after my weekly shop at the local supermarket!!!!
Don't mind the shopping bit too much ... it's putting it all away when I get it home that I don't like.
I made this one up using a backing paper that matched her coat and then coloured some silver peel offs the same colour to put round the edges of the oval. Easy peasy!!
See what Jak, Toni and Jackie have been up to recently.
See you soon xx

Not too sure about this one

Have you ever made a card and when it's finished can't decide whether you like it or not?
That's what's happened with this one. When I had all the bits in front of me I thought the colours looked nice together ... but once I'd made it up ... it didn't do a lot for me!!
Oh well .. I can't make a mini masterpiece every day! LOL!
Have a nice day.

Green and Cream

Can't say I'm a fan of green .. but admit it does look nice with the cream. I THINK this flower is a Narcissus but knowing me it probably isn't ... but I'm sure someone will put me right!!
The flowers in the top right hand corner were originally white cos didn't have any cream ones so added a bit of chalk to make them a similar colour to the main flower.
A different card fold for me as well ... left the inside blank for the minute cos it's not for anyone in particular but when I do decide to send it to someone I'll add a verse on a cream cuttlebug oval and put it on top of the green one .. if you know what I mean!!!
Hope you all had a good weekend.

Anyone for Bingo???

And still they keep coming .. Flippin' Women that is (from La Pashe).
Wish my Auntie Anne was still around .. she'd have loved this one. She lived in Hull but used to travel to the seaside town of Withernsea every week to play Bingo in the amusement arcades and I remember when we used to visit her she used to give us kids some of her winning tickets and let us choose something from the middle of the bingo stall. Oh for the good old days!!
Go and visit Jak, Toni and Jackie and see what they've been up to.

Botanical Bouquet

Yet another beautiful flower from the Cupcake Crafting CD's ... and yet again I haven't a clue what the flower is!!!! I just know it's pretty and pink!!
The backing paper is a free download from one of the many scrapbooking sites, added two different colours of ribbon, computer generated text and chalked round the edge of my white base card with a pale green colour and finished off with some pearls.
Hope you all had a nice weekend ... enjoy what's left of it!!

Two more

Another two Flippin' Women .. this time Ironing and Hiking.
Can relate to the ironing one but as for the other ... the furthest I ever walk is from my craft room to the kitchen to get refreshments!! and then back to my craft room again. That's enough walking for me!!!
Go and visit Jak, Toni and Jackie and see what they've been up to.
Sees ya.

Flippin' Crafting

Another card made up from the delightful Flippin' Women range.
I've tried to incorporate as many crafting things as I can on here i.e. cuttlebug swiss dots, brads, ribbon, bows, peel offs, fabric flowers, pearls and punches .. and ran out of space to put anything else on!! I'll post another one tomorrow .. so you know where I am if you'd like to come back and have a look. Pop over to Jak, Toni and Jackie's blogs for more of these lovely women!!
Have a nice evening.

Well here they are last .. the one's you've all been waiting for ... Flippin' Women!
Once again Jak and La Pashe have come up trumps with another fantastic range of decoupage sheets. The one I'm showcasing is Flippin' Gardening .. as if you hadn't guessed.
Go check out Jak, Toni and Jackie's blogs and see what they've done with their women.
Right just off to catch up with Jak on Create and Craft Sky Channel 644.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Lesser Spotted Butterfly

Forgot I had these Cuttlebug butterflies. Only used them once before on a wedding card so got them out, dusted them down and gave them a new lease of life. Also used my circle nesties, and the scallop border was done using my Romance board. The backing paper is from a sheet by Laura Ashley and finished it all off with some pearls and ribbon.
Have a nice weekend.

Poppy Anemones

I bet your all amazed that I actually know the name of these flowers!! Don't be fooled .. only reason I know is cos it said so on the deco sheet! LOL!
This has got to be the smallest card I've ever made. It's an A4 sheet cut in half lengthways and then folded in half again. Not much room to put a lot of anything on really .. but managed to get some ribbon on .. even though it's not one of my infamous bows!!
Have a nice day.

More unknown flowers!!!

Gorgeous image ... this time taken from the Botanical Bouquet CD by Cupcake Crafting. I suppose I should know what the flowers are but nature and stuff like that have never been my strong point.
I did some good old fashioned embossing on this one .. dug my light box out and my ornare stencil and away I went ... really enjoyed doing it too.
I'm snowed in so will probably spend the day in my craft room. Good old snow!! LOL!!
