Book Box Card

I've seen a few of these book box cards on my blog hopping travels and knew I had to try making one myself. To be quite honest they're so much easier than I thought they'd be and for a first attempt I'm really pleased with it.

There are quite a few tutorials up and down but the one I used and found the easiest was from Bonnie's blog here. Thanks Bonnie x
The backing paper is from Marianne Design Eline's Babies Blue pad. The roses are handmade using a Woodware punch and the leaves are punched with a Leone Em punch.

That's it for now, have a nice day xx

Three Drawer Box

Ever since I saw one of these on the Clearly I Stamp blog I've been dying to have a go but needed a spare couple of hours to give it a try. It was a bit time consuming and I can't say I'm entirely happy with the end result, but I'll definitely be having another go sometime soon. Katie Renz's fantastic tutorial can be found here. Thanks Katie xx

Rather than used a patterned paper I just ran my swiss dots folder through the cuttlebug using plain white paper. The rose is handmade using a new fllower punch I bought last weekend at The Range, and the gorgeous fern punch is a Leone Em one.

See you soon xx

Fizzy Moon Easel Drawer

This is the second of the five I made, this time using the gorgeous Fizzy Moon range. I'm not sure I like the pyramage as it sometimes gets a bit difficult to see the actual picture because of the height of the layers!!

I'm on with a three drawer box at the moment, I just need to decorate it and then I'll post it on here when it's finished.

Enjoy your day whatever you're doing xx

I hope you've all had a lovely Easter. I've still got seven days holiday before I go back to work .. now what shall I do with myself .. mmm well now that the sun seems to have gone back to bed I think I'll decorate the rest of the boxes!! xx

Build a Blossom Sneak Preview Part Two

Another sneak preview of the new Build a Blossoms from La Pashe.

I've used the gorgeous Chrysanthemum on today's project and rather than go with a card I made an easel calendar.

The other DT members have also got other cards to show you so pop by and see what little beauties they've come up with. The links are in my sidebar.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend whatever you're doing xx

Easel Calendar Take Two

I used a different "Fred's Flower" on this one. I've got 8 more of these little calendars to use, so I'm going to make 8 more of these in different colours, but don't worry I won't be posting them all on here, don't want to bore you all to tears!! lol

Have a nice day whatever you're doing xx

Easel Calendar

Father Christmas very kindly got me a Hougie board for Christmas (cos I was a good girl!!) so I thought I'd road test it and make something other than a card.

The instructions for the easel box are from Stamping Moments and can be purchased here. Jenny has got some absolutely fantastic projects and I can see a big spend coming on!! lol
The gorgeous dahlia is from Tracey at Fred, She Said and the little calendars are from Samuel Taylors .. 10 for 99p .. bargain!!

P.S. Just Inklined have got a fabulous offer on at the moment ... Buy 10 Digital Stamps and get them at HALF PRICE!! Further details are here.

Hope you're all having a relaxing Christmas and haven't drunk or eaten too much. I haven't ... yeah right!!! lol
