Spring is in the air

All this beautiful weather we've been having made me feel quite "springy" so I thought I'd colour up this gorgeous crocus jug from Just Inklined.

It's coloured with Promarkers and the lovely swirly embossed frame is from Craftwork Cards.

If I don't see you before I'll see you back here on Monday for the monthly Just Inklined Blog Hop xx

Purple "Less is More" Peony

I found a gorgeous sheet of purple satin mirri board in my stash and coloured this beautiful peony bloom from Just Inklined in the same colour.

Promarkers used:
Aubergine, Plum and Mulberry
Pear Green, Lime Green, Lime Zest and Soft Lime

I'm entering this into the "Less is More" challenge where the theme is Anything Goes and they are having a bit of a challenge themselves as they are trying to get over 1000 entries, so here's my contribution. I'm also entering it into the Allsorts Challenge Blog where the theme is "Clean and Simple".

See you soon xx

Well I've made my first Christmas card this year .. only another 60+ to go!!!

I used this lovely image from Just Inklined and coloured it with Promarkers. I used "Snow Writer" for the snow effect .. haven't a clue where I got it from as I had it bought last Christmas and only found it in the back of my cupboard the other day but I've found some here.

Just Inklined to Hop "Wacky Wheelz Special"

Well here we are again with our monthly Just Inklined Blog Hop.
This month we have a "Wacky Wheelz Special" hosted by Jak.

These fantastic new images are available as either a digi stamp for you to colour yourself or as a pre-coloured image, plus you also get the added bonus of matching backing papers, sentiments and embellishments. There are eight different cars to choose from and they can all be purchased here.

I used the fabulous Mini digi pack and "cheated" a bit on this one as I used the pre-coloured image rather than colour in the digi stamp version. Lazy or what .. but what a brilliant image it is!!

To make the hop more fun there are spot prizes along the way on every design team members blog chosen from those that leave a comment on each blog.

If you're following the hop in the right order you should have arrived here from Toni and from here you need to pop over to Cathy and see what fabulous creation she's got in store for you.

In case you get lost, here's the hop in the correct order. Enjoy!!!

Tulips in a jug

I love tulips and this image from Just Inklined is one of my favourites and so easy to colour.

Coloured as usual with Promarkers and as usual can't remember what colours ... doh!!!
The striking red backing paper is from a Stampin' Up pad and finished off as usual with ribbon and black gems.

See you soon xx

Mini picnic baskets

I've been itching to make these picnic baskets up ever since I came across a tutorial on YouTube.
They look quite complicated but are so simple to do, in fact so simple I made three of them in one sitting!! lol

In the video she uses much bigger brads on the handles but I didn't have any so had to use the small ones that I had but they work perfectly. The tutorial can be found here.

Have a nice day xx

Just Inklined to Hop - Check It Out

Well here we are again with our monthly Just Inklined Blog Hop.
It's my turn to host this month so you're in the right place to start the hop and my chosen theme is "Check It Out" (checks as in squares!! lol)

I chose this gorgeous Pansy image and coloured it with Promarkers. The gingham check is from the Wild Rose Studio Gorgeous Ginghams paper pack, and the embossed frame is from Craftwork Cards.

To make the hop more fun, there are two hidden spot prizes on two of the design teams blogs. We're not letting you know on whose blogs the prizes can be found, but if you leave a comment on each blog and your name is chosen from one of the winning blogs, then you win the digi image showcased on the card on that particular blog.

So on to the hop. From here you need to pop over to the fabulous Cathy and see what little beauty she's created and just in case you get lost here's a list of all the girls in the correct order.

Hand Tied Lilies

These Hand Tied Lilies are one of the new images from Just Inklined.

I coloured them with Promarkers and used some contrasting coloured card. I wasn't sure about the black at first, but I think it looks quite nice. The sentiment was stamped and the whole thing was finished off with a few pearls.

It's been an absolute age since I made a card with the fabulous Kenny K images. I've got quite a few coloured up, just not got round to doing anything with them yet!!

This one is called Mad Skillz and she's coloured with Promarkers, but as it's such a long time since I coloured her, I haven't a clue of the colours I used!!

21st card for Emily

I was asked to make a card for a 21st birthday and the only clue I had as to what they wanted on it was .. it had to have pink on it!!!

Well this one's certainly got pink on it. It's a beautiful glittery paper I got from the £1 shop a couple of years ago. I can't remember where the image came from but I do know it is royalty free. I did the wavy border using the romance board and the numbers were cut out with the cuttlebug. I finished off as usual with ribbon and black gems. Hope she likes it!!

Have a great weekend whatever you're doing xx

Knitting Basket

I remember my Mum's sewing/knitting basket looking like this when I was a little girl. I used to love looking in it and finding all the fancy buttons in the bottom of the basket.

The image from Just Inklined is called "Knitting Basket" and can be found here.
I coloured it with promarkers and actually made a list of the colours I used .. but guess what? .. I lost it!!! lol

See you soon xx
