Cooooeeeee!!

Well, after quite a long break (for me), I'm back!! 

Had a few things going on which took my mind off crafting, but hopefully things are getting back to normal now. I'll start off with this gorgeous baby blanket which is again from a pattern from the fantastic Terry Kimbrough Baby Afghan book.

 

I'm not promising loads of cards will suddenly be appearing because to be honest my card making mojo has beggared off somewhere and doesn't look like it's coming back just yet!!  However, I'm still on with my jewellery and crochet so hopefully I'll have something else to show you soon!!

 

Time for Tea

I haven't disappeared off the face of the earth, just been mega busy with stuff .... making bracelets, designing for Hunkydory and went to London to see Pink at the O2. 

On to the card which was so easy to make. I used the gorgeous pre-coloured tea set image from "The Next Big Thing" CD by Just Inklined. Perfect for when you haven't got time to colour the images yourself.  The frame was made in Greetings Card Factory and the gems were coloured with Promarkers to match the colours on the tea set, frame and sentiment.

Anyway, going supermarket shopping now, so hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend :) xx

My newest hobby

Here's my latest project. It's called a Flat Spiral Weave bracelet and after seeing quite a few of these gorgeous bracelets around I thought I'd give them a bash myself. I was very surprised how easy they were to

 make up and I used this fabulous tutorial here.  

 I used some random beads and seed beads that I bought from Hobbycraft and after putting a pic on Facebook someone asked if they could buy it straight away!! 

I'll probably bore you all to death now with millions of these in all different colours, so you have been warned!! lol 

 

Magnolia

This stunning Magnolia is one of the gorgeous clear polymer stamps from Just Inklined. 

 

It's coloured with Promarkers (Aubergine, Plum, Mulberry, Pear Green, Lime Green and Lime Zest) and just a bit of scoring with the Hougie Board. All mounted onto gold mirri card and there you have it.

Happy Easter

This gorgeous Daffodil Patch from Just Inklined is just perfect for Easter.

Coloured with Promarkers and the lovely spotty backing paper is from the new Forever Friends Kraft Notes range.

Baby Afghan No. 2

This is another crocheted blanket called Heartwarming Wrap from the fantastic "Terry Kimbrough Baby Afghans" book.
I used white DK wool instead of the Sports Weight Yarn it recommends .. which I think is equivalent to 4 ply.

 

This particular blanket took a lot of wool and the frilly border just seemed to take forever to finish, but I'm really pleased with the final result :) xx

 

Forever Friends Wedding

A commissioned wedding card, and while I had the Forever Friends CD out, I thought I'd use one of the fabulous wedding images on there.

 

 It's a large 8" x 8" and the only embellies I used were pearls and ribbon and mounted it onto silver mirri card.

60th Birthday Forever Friends

I used the fabulous Forever Friends Collector's Edition Triple CD for these two cards, although the purple backing paper was from my stash and not the CD.

 

   

 Think I'll be spending the weekend crafting as the snow here is horrendous at the moment and I can't see it stopping anytime soon!!

Wedding Bouquet

This gorgeous Wedding Bouquet is another of the new clear polymer stamps from Just Inklined. 

Coloured with Promarkers and mounted and layered onto embossed card and mirri card.

Baby Girl Washing Line

It's Day Two of the Just Inklined Clear Polymer Stamp release. 

This delightful image is Baby Girl Washing Line and would you believe there's a Baby Boy Washing Line image as well!! lol 

I've made a tent card so it looks like the washing is blowing in the wind. Coloured as usual with Promarkers and finished off with computer generated sentiment and a few pearls.

Just Inklined - New Clear Polymer Stamps

Just Inklined are thrilled to announce that they are on Create and Craft TV Thursday and Friday with their new release of Clear Stamps, you will be able to buy these either individually or as part of a set. 

This one is Vintage Coach Pram and coloured with Promarkers. Only used five colours: Indigo, Royal Blue, True Blue, Lemon and Ice Grey 3.

Just Inklined to Hop

For my card I chose this lovely Rose image and coloured it with Promarkers.  I used my Hougie Board to score the lines on the border, the die cut trellis is a Cheery Lynn die and you can just about see the pearls in the trellis work.

These gorgeous petunias from Just Inklined were coloured with Promarkers.

I used an embossing folder I've had for ages and finished off with usual ribbon and gems.

I haven't disappeared off the face of the earth, I've just been mega busy designing for a very well known papercraft company!!

 I've had the privilege of being asked by Anne-Marie at Hunkydory to design for their latest collections. The card below is from the fabulous Special Occasions Collection.

Welcome to day 5 of the Just Inklined Hoedown

I coloured these fabulous boots and stetson and decided to go for girly colours. Can't remember what colours I used as usual and the matching gingham was from my stash.  Finished off with a few punched stars and the sentiment is computer generated with a font called ... wait for it .... Wild West!! lol

We are starting a week of Wild Western Themed digi stamps and the Design team Girls have had such fun creating with them, mind you so did our artist when drawing them, we had to drag him horseback screaming, kicking and shouting to stop him drawing more.

We hope y'all love them as much as we do.They will be on Sale as of today when we start showing you what our Design Team have created
