I coloured it in with Promarkers: Rose Pink, Pink Carnation, Blossom, Forest Green, Apple and Meadow Green.

Just Inklined to Hop

Hi and welcome to this months Just Inklined blog hop.  Our host this month is Toni and her chosen theme is a "single layer" card.

I chose this gorgeous daisy patch and coloured them with Promarkers.

Just to make the hop a little more interesting, there are two hidden spot prizes on two of the design teams blogs. We're not letting you know on whose blogs the prizes can be found, but if you leave a comment on each blog and your name is chosen from one of the winning blogs, then you win the digi image showcased on the card on that particular blog.
If you're following the hop in the right order you should have arrived here from Lori  and from here you need to hop over to Angela and see what fabulous creation she's got in store for us.

In case you get lost here's the hop in the correct order. Enjoy!!

Happy Birthday Mum

It's my mum's birthday today and this is the card I made for her.
It's a large 8" x 8" centre step card and the flowers are handmade. The gorgeous backing paper is from the Papermania Rose Garden paper pack.

Happy Birthday Mum. Love you lots xx

Batchelors Button

This gorgeous Batchelors Button (Cornflower) image is from Just Inklined.

I coloured it as usual with Promarkers and used my new embossing folder which is from the Beatrix Potter range. The gorgeous backing paper is from a pad I had given (along with a dozen or so more pads) but unfortunately there's no front or back cover on it so I haven't a clue where it originates from!! Have a lovely weekend whatever you're doing and I'll see you back here tomorrow for the monthly Just Inklined Blog Hop :) xx

These gorgeous anemones are one of the new images from Just Inklined and as usual were coloured with Promarkers.

Snowdrops

These gorgeous snowdrops are one of the new images from Just Inklined.

So very, very easy to colour using just three colours: Pear Green, Lime Green and Lime Zest (oh and a tiny bit of yellow for the centre of the snowdrops).
The backing sheet is from a pad I've had for ages and the ribbon started life white but I coloured it in with a Promarker to match the rest of the card.

See you soon xx

Wedding Card

I was asked by a friend to make a wedding card for her son and bride-to-be. No problem I thought, until she told me what she wanted on it!!

They're both in the navy and are based in Cornwall so she wanted something with those elements on, oh and they also have a little brown cocker spaniel called Jasper (could I include him as well!!!). Didn't want much did she? Lol

So I got my thinking cap on because I wanted the card to look classy and not tacky and overdone. I found a perfect gold coloured navy insignia on the web and then a map of Cornwall which I watermarked and changed the colour of and put behind the text, and as for the dog ... I put him on the back of the card in a corner!!!

She absolutely loved it and so did the Bride and Groom.
Congratulations David and Kelly and I wish you both all the luck and happiness in the world xx

Paper Bows

I came across a tutorial for these fabulous paper bows and just had to give them a go!!

The original tutorial here was for a 6" x 6" piece of paper but I wanted something smaller so the one's I've made are 3" x 3". While very easy to make, because they were smaller they were a bit fiddly, but I think they're fabulous and I can see me making lots of these and not just for cards!!

Hope you've all had a good Bank Holiday despite the yukky weather!! xx

The top half of the card was embossed with a folder I've had for yonks and I can't remember what it's called or where it's from (doh!) and the bottom half was scored using my Hougie Board. Hope you're all enjoying your weekend xx

Orange Lazy Daisy

I love this image from Just Inklined. I coloured it in a few weeks ago in pink, and thought I'd try it in orange.

I coloured it with Promarkers (Burnt Orange, Pumpkin and Gold) and made a frame using nestabilities and my cuttlebug. Punched a few flowers and leaves and finished off with the usual pearls xx

Gardener's Delight

I coloured this gorgeous Gardener's Delight image from Just Inklined twice, the first time I didn't like how the barrow turned out, so I did it again and I'm quite happy with this one. Still not brilliant shading but it'll do!! lol

It was coloured with Promarkers and the backing paper is from a pad that I've had for ages but don't know which it is because the front fell off!! lol
