Card and Calendar

Here's a couple more from Hunkdory and the "Floral Fantasia" collection.

This was just one sheet of the A4 encapsulated glitter card cut down to make a card and a calendar.

I've still got a few more to show you from this gorgeous collection before the new collection launches next Friday, so I'll be back soon :)

Floral Fantasia

Another card made with the gorgeous "Floral Fantasia" collection from Hunkydory.

I used adorable scorable for the background and scored with my Hougie.
The decoupage is already die cut which makes life a lot easier, and I just covered the whole image and sentiment with an acetate dome shape. Simples!!

I'll have a few more to show you over this next week so hope you can pop back and have a look :)

Long time .. no see!!!

Well I bet you thought I'd gone for good didn't you? No such luck!!

Just not had the enthusiasm to make cards since before Christmas and when it becomes a chore and not a hobby you know something has to give!

After a very difficult decision I decided to step down from my DT positions with Just Inklined and La Pashe, and I'd just like to thank Jak Heath and the team from the bottom of my heart for giving me the opportunity to work alongside them.

I'm still designing for Hunkydory though and on that note, I'm going to post my very first card this year using the brand spanking new "Floral Fantasia" which is the current Pick of the Week on Create and Craft TV.

I'll be back with another one tomorrow, and hopefully I'll keep up with my blogging as I've a few other projects on the go, including crochet and jewellery.

Hope you had a nice weekend whatever you were doing :) xx

It's a Man's World

This little gift box with fudge inside was made using elements from the fantastic new collection "It's a Man's World" from Hunkydory.

Watch Create and Craft TV (Sky channel 671) all this week to see Anne-Marie and the rest of the team demonstrate some fabulous samples using the collection.

Hunkydory Hydrangea

This beautiful Hydrangea is from the stunning new "Lace in Bloom" collection from Hunkydory.   Definitely my all time favourite kit!!

It has a lace effect acetate dome which is not very clear, and all the little flowers and butterfly are decoupaged under the dome. I recommend this collection to anyone who loves flowers and delicate pink, blues and purples.. Just gorgeous!!

Have a lovely weekend whatever you're doing :) xx

Butterfly Tea Light Box

This lovely Tea Light Gift Box is made using elements from "Your Special Day" collection from Hunkydory.

I've made a few of these and even though they are quite time consuming they are really easy to make up.
I followed this fabulous tutorial here.

Festive Decadence

This gorgeous, gorgeous lady is from the fantastic new collection from Hunkydory.

Festive Decadence was launched yesterday and I've got to say it's got to be one of my favourite collections so far (although I say that after every new collection!!) lol

I just made a simple centre stepper card and decorated it with only the elements from the kit, no extras at all.
That's the beauty of Hunkydory,  you don't need all the fancy die cutting machines etc. etc. to make a stunning card.

Just pure and simple Hunkydory :)

A Christmas 'Wish

This delightful little bear is from the Magical Christmas range from Hunkydory.

Again, a very, very simple card using only the elements from the kit and nothing else (apart from a bit of ribbon and mirror card)!!

Had a great day in Hull with dear daughter doing a bit of clothes shopping, hope you all had a great weekend too :) xx

Mr Claus!!

And here he is ... the big fella himself!! lol
Another card made with the fabulous Classic Christmas range from Hunkydory.

This has got to be one of the quickest (and very effective in my opinion) cards I've ever made!!
It's just one of the toppers layered onto one of the backing sheets and finished with a sentiment. That's it!!  (Oh and I glittered the fur on his coat and hat but you can't see it in the photo!!)

Have a nice day whatever you're doing :) xx

Christmas in July!!!

This is just one of the many Christmas cards I've made over the past few months for Hunkydory.

These gorgeous little doggies are from the Classic Christmas range, but you need to get the other packs from the Christmas Blockbuster as they are equally as fantastic.
A very simple card to make, but it looks so classy!! (even though I do say so myself)lol

If you want to become a member of Club Hunkydory all you have to do is register here.

Have a great day whatever you're doing :) xx

MyTweetheart

I haven't disappeared off the face of the earth, I've just been mega busy designing for a very well known papercraft company!!

I've had the privilege of being asked by Anne-Marie at Hunkydory to design for their latest collections. The card below is from the fabulous Special Occasions Collection.

But before you all dash off to buy this fantastic kit, watch Create and Craft tomorrow at 12 noon because Hunkydory are launching their brand new collection called Sparkling Pearl and you're going to want to buy that as well!!! It's just stunning!!

Hunkydory Garden Vase

Now believe it or not since I started card making I've never bought a ready made card kit. I always start from scratch as I think it makes the card more "handmade" if you know what I mean!! lol

Anyway I was on holiday the other week and in a lovely little craft shop I found and I came across this Hunkydory Garden Vase card kit. I thought how pretty they were so bought them, brought them home and made them up.

Aren't they pretty?  They come with envelopes but I made little boxes for them and then took them to the hospice shop in the village where I live.

Hope you're all enjoying this extended Bank Holiday Weekend :) xx
