La Pashe Blog Hop No. 2

Welcome to the 2nd La Pashe blog hop and the theme this month is "Spring".
Well what could be more springier than pink and green??

For my card I mixed and matched two sets of Rubber Stamp Tapestry. The flowers, swirls and vase are from the Porcelain Bouquet set and the leaves are from the Tailor's Heart set. As I'm a newcomer to stamping I thought I'd keep the design very simple until I've got the hang of using the pegs.
The rest of the card is made up using my nesties and an embossing folder. I didn't have a ribbon or pearls that matched the card so I coloured them with Promarkers.

You should have arrived here from Toni's blog, so now pop over to Lydia and see what she's created.

The RST sets are available from La Pashe.
See you soon xx

Lynda's birthday card

This was made for my cousin Lynda who was born on the same day as me 51 years ago. Not often sisters give birth on the same day so we were local celebrities!!

I've had a lovely weekend, it was my birthday on Saturday and I'm now the proud owner of the full set of Promarkers thanks to my luvly hubby, and to finish the weekend off he took me to Dawn Bibby's shop in Accrington so I could spend loads of money on things I didn't need!!
Thanks Trev and Sam for a lovely weekend xxx

Last Sarah Kay ... for now!!!

I absolutely loved colouring this one in. Tried not to use too many colours as I didn't want the image to clash with the Turquoise and Black colour scheme.

And I remembered to make a list of which colours I used!!

Skin: Blush and Pale Pink
Hair: Sandstone, Caramel and Cocoa
Clothes: Cool Aqua, Duck Egg and Pastel Beige

Not sure what I'm going to colour in next .. nothings safe now I've found the colouring in bug!!! lol
Have a nice day xx

Pink and White Sarah Kay

Another Promarker coloured in card. Only problem is I keep forgetting to make a note of what colours I've used.

The pink striped backing paper is from Fred, She Said, the flowers are made with a medium and small daisy punch, and the sentiment is computer generated and punched out with the SU word window punch.
I'm still on my Easter holidays (back tomorrow) so I'm off for a leisurely browse round my local craft centre.
Have a nice day xx

Purple and Brown Sarah Kay

I know it's purple again, but I love purple!!
The backing paper is from Stampin' Up and the sentiment is printed onto white card and then punched out using the SU scalloped oval and oval punches.
The punched border is also an SU punch and the daisies are punched from a small daisy punch.

I've used Promarkers to colour her in and the colours used are:

Skin, Hat and Hair: Blush, Sandstone and Walnut
Top and Flowers: Purple, Amethyst and Orchid
Trousers: Sandstone and Caramel
Leaves: Pear Green

Hope you've all had a lovely Easter xx
