Black and White Shoes

Made three of these over the weekend .. two for two eighteen year olds and one for a 50 year old. Don't think it matters what age you are ... these shoes are just perfect for anybody ...
thanks Jools for the image. Used my Divine Swirls folder and Olivia alphabet and finished off with black and gold ribbon. Oh and in case you're wondering ... Tas is short for Tasmin!!
Have a nice evening.

Wanted to make something really special for my Mum so made this large 8" x 8" card.
She was thrilled to bits with it and had her usual blub after reading the verse!!

Lilac and Green

This is a a card I made for Jackie's challenge on the imag-e-nation forum. The requirements were we had to follow a sketch drawn by Jackie and use Lilac and Green as the main colours.
Never having followed a sketch before I thoroughly enjoyed doing it, certainly got the old brain cells working!! And I was awarded a very respectable 2nd place!!
Have a lovely weekend.

Spots before your eyes!

Seem to be having a run on spotty cards at the moment.
This is from a little girl called Lakeisha to give to her Mummy. Rummaged through my Morehead sheets .. (which I've still got loads of!!) and found this little girl who I thought was ideal.
Usual Karen stuff on card i.e. ribbons, bows and pearls!! I'm so predictable!!
Have a nice day.

For Alice

Made this for my mum to give to her friend who's just become a Grandma.
I printed the pink gingham and the text directly onto the card, used the Cuttlebug baby embossing folder, image courtesy of Sonya and as per usual finished off with pearls, ribbon and bows.
Hope you all had a good weekend.

Blue and White Spots

Love this little boy and girl. Not much to say about this card really except it was made with blue and white spotty backing paper, blue gems, blue and white ribbon and cuttlebug Happy Birthday folder.
Hope you're all enjoying your weekend.

Little Boy Blue

This image is adorable and once again came from Nicky.
Found a matching spotty backing paper, and Cuttlebugged the numbers and circles and topped it all off with a couple of brads and a bow!

For my Dad

Hope my Dad's not looking at my blog today 'cos this card is for his birthday on Thursday!
I've run out of ideas as to what to put on his cards so thought this was ideal as every man loves a classic car! Don't they?
Made with the La Pashe Remember When sheets, brown stardream card, cream hammered card chalked round the edges with brown and finished off with Cuttlebug Olivia letters and little cream pearls.
Happy Birthday for Thursday Dad xx

What's new pussycat?

Made a change from the usual flowery cards I make.
Image courtesy of Nicky and backing paper came from my stash.
Very quick and simple to make and just finished off with pink sparkly gems and pink organza ribbon.
Hope you all had a nice weekend.

Black and White and Spotty!!!

Coming soon to a blog near you! Jak's blog to be precise!!
I love these "Build a Blossom" sheets and when I was kindly given this one to do something with I could have done allsorts with it .. but in the end I went with simplicity!!
Haven't put a sentiment on it yet ... cos it's one of those cards that could be suitable for any occasion so keeping it in my "just in case" box.
So remember ... keep checking Jak's blog.
Bye for now.

Beautiful Blue Blossom

This gorgeous blue flower is made up using one of Jak's "Build a Blossom" sheets that she kindly shared with us. Thanks Jak.
Love the colour of this one and found some matching backing paper to go with it, used my circle nesties, corner punch, blue gem stones, computer generated text sentiment and finished it all off with a teeny tiny bow.
Have a nice evening.
