Mint and Brown

Made this one for the Just Cute Bears challenge where the theme this week is "Mint and Brown".
Because of the poor light conditions my brown actually looks grey in the photo, but believe me it is brown!!! lol

The image is from the Popcorn the Bear CD. I just decoupaged him up a few times, and stuck him onto my favourite labels nesties. Finished off with my usual ribbon, bow and pearls.
Hope you all had a good weekend xxx

I'm on a roll!!!

Can't believe this is my fourth stamped card in a row. For someone who's never done stamping and colouring before I'm actually starting to enjoy it.
Ok this particular one doesn't have any colouring in at all, but the fact that I actually got a stamp and ink pad out is an achievement in itself!! lol

The stamp is from Kanban and it's from the Garden Vista range called Spring Silhouettes. There are two trees like the one above and this is the smaller of the two. I used Swiss Dots cuttlebug folder, MS doily punch, ribbon and bow, and finished off with little white pearls (I put a few on the tree as well)
See you soon xxx

Rub a dub dub

I think this is my favourite of all the stamps.
I've done this one in sepia and cream (with no colouring in!) and I think it looks really effective. I used the snow cuttlebug folder which I thought looked more like bubbles and finished it off with a bit of matching ribbon.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and I hope you don't get too much of the white stuff! (We've got loads ... again!!) xx

Flippin' Gardening

Another fabulous stamp from La Pashe. Not only is it my first time at stamping and colouring but also my first attempt at an easel card!!! How adventurous am I?

I'll have another one to show you tomorrow so until then have a great weekend xxx

Oooh how exciting!!!

Some brand new stuff from La Pashe!!!
First up we have the Framin' Cards which are relatively self explanatory. The decoupage picture is built up and then placed behind acetate with the frame on top. I've put a few peel offs round this particular frame and I think it looks quite classy!!

The second new product is the Flippin' Men Rubber Stamp range.
Now most of you know that I don't do stamping or colouring in so when I was first given these to do something with I was a bit apprehensive to say the least, but I bit the bullet so to speak and gave it my best shot.
And do you know something .. I thoroughly enjoyed it .. what a great sense of achievement that I actually stamped something myself and coloured it in from scratch!! I used W H Smith colouring pencils cos I just can't get to grips with watercolouring!

Anyway, that's enough waffling from me. Jak is on TV this morning:

Create and Craft .. Channel 671 at 11.00 a.m. with the Framin' Cards and
Ideal World .. Channel 644 at 2.00 p.m. with the Flippin' Men Rubber Stamps

Pop over to Toni and Ali's blogs too and see what they've got to show you.

I'll be back tomorrow with a few more samples but until then I hope you all enjoy your weekend xxx

Chicory Flower Fairy

I love these Flower Fairies and I think the Chicory one has got to be my favourite.
I used my new Daisy embossing folder on this one and finished off with some sparkly gems and a ribbon and bow.

Another two!!

I just love the expression on the ladies face!!! She's traumatized because she thinks she weighs more than she should. What she doesn't know is her cat is sat on the scales behind her!! She'd be even more traumatized if she knew there was someone in the shower!! lol

All Loved Up

I've just entered this in my very first challenge blog thanks to Ali who suggested it to me.
It's for the Just Cute Bears blog and the theme this week is "Hearts".

Haven't made this for anyone in particular but just had to buy the scrummy new sheets and papers from the Forever Friends range. They're called "All Loved Up" and the little bear is a sticker just stuck onto card and cut out. I used the MS Heart Border Punch and finished off with pearls .. and yes I know I've done it again and not put a bow or ribbon on!!!
Hope you all had a lovely weekend xxx
