Handmade flowers

Ever since I saw this tutorial for making these fabulous flowers I was itching to have a go, so yesterday afternoon me and Sam sat out in the garden and made about 30 of them in all the colours of the rainbow.

They're so easy to make and how effective do they look?

The Chosen One

You may remember a while back I did several wedding invitation samples for my cousins wedding. Well this was the one she finally chose, a mixture of a few of them and also one of the fiddliest and most time consuming!!! Still it's what she wanted so it's what she'll get! lol

All the day and evening invitations have now been sent out, so I'm now on with the Order of Service, Menu, Place Cards and Table Planner and I'm running out of time!! Why do I always leave everything to the last minute??
I might see you soon with a new card if I get the time so watch this space!! lol

La Pashe Blog Hop

The monthly blog hop from La Pashe is here again. I chose the theme this month which was ... wait for it .... "Father's Day"!!!

I used the Flippin' Teenagers Teddy Boy. My Dad used to wear beetle crushers and have his hair in a quiff like this fella so I think he'll like this card, but that's if he looks at it, cos as I said before he just shakes them to see how much money falls out of them!!! lol, bless him.

Didn't make this for anyone in particular .. I just love the image which is once again one of Mo's.

Forever Friends

Thought I'd have a break from colouring in and make a birthday card for my cousin Allison who loves the Forever Friends bears.

This one was very simple to make. A decoupaged teddy, punched flowers and leaves, pearls and a bit of ribbon and that's it.

Lemon and Mint Kai

"Kai in the Snow" from Mo Manning. I think this is my all time favourite of Mo's, I just love that little face.
The mint coloured glitter card is really, really glittery in real life, but the photo doesn't pick it up very well.

Skin: Ivory and Soft Peach
Clothes: Mint Green and Pastel Green
Hat, Scarf, Gloves and Boots: Buttercup and Tulip Yellow

Not sure about this one

I don't often make a card that I'm not pleased with, but this one just doesn't do it for me.
I must admit it does like so much better in real life .. the papers look a bit washy washy here but are in fact the same colours as the flowers.

Oh well, you can't make a mini masterpiece every day can you!! lol xx

Fairy Finna

Another delightful little fairy from ..... wait for it ... none other than .... Mo Manning!!!
I've loads of these images now just waiting to be coloured in and I've just some bought some more tonight!!! Can't get enough of them ... as if you hadn't noticed! lol

This was such a simple card to make .. backing paper, ribbon, pearls and a few punched flowers and that's it!!
