These gorgeous hycaniths are one of the new images from Just Inklined and available here from La Pashe.
I coloured the image with Promarkers and used an SU punch for the corners and Martha Stewarts doily punch for the border. Pearls to finish as usual and the delicious green dp paper is from Bearly Mine Designs.
Promarker colours used are: Leaves: Olive Green, Pear Green, Lime Green and Lime Zest Flowers: Violet, Bluebell and Blue Pearl Pot: Walnut, Cinnamon and Tan
Hope you all had a lovely weekend whatever you were doing xx
After a friend of mine had scoured the shops looking for a "Naming Day" card, she couldn't find anything she wanted so asked for my help.
It's a first for me .. I've only done Christening cards before so didn't quite know what to do with it, but opted for this gorgeous baby image from Joanna Sheen's "Baby Love" CD. The backing paper is from my stash and finished it all off as usual with ribbon and pearls. My friend was over the moon with it but I doubt Lexi will be impressed .. she's only 4 months old!!
This beautiful image from Just Inklined is for a friend who absolutely loves poppies.
The "Corner Poppy" can be purchased here from La Pashe.
It was coloured with Promarkers (no idea what colours!! doh) and the sentiment was computer generated and mounted using my Nestie Labels (don't know which number!! doh) and then finished off with a few black beads. A very easy, peasy card to make but really pleased with the end result.
This is one of the smallest cards I've ever made. It's an A4 sheet cut down the middle lengthways and then folded in half again .. it's tiny!!
I used the gorgeous Papermania Capsule Boysenberry range i.e. the backing paper, the ribbon and the bow. The flower was made using co-ordinating card stock (tutorial here Jeni lol) and the leaves and scalloped border are punched. Finished off with a few pearls as usual.
Here's our Flossie from Just Inklined. She might be ancient, but she still knows how to colour co-ordinate her clothes and accessories.
I coloured her with Promarkers and the backing paper is from my stash. Finished the whole thing off with some pearls and not a ribbon or bow in sight ... think I need a lie down!! lol You can get your Flossie here from La Pashe. See you soon xx
A Diamond Wedding Anniversary card for my cousins parents. I used some absolutely stunning tapestry card and embossed the corners with a very old and battered stencil I've had for years and I used my old fashioned light box.
Finished it off with a peel off butterfly, ribbon and bow, and some sparkly gems. Enjoy the rest of the evening whatever you're doing xx
Where did February go? Can't believe we're onto the March Just Inklined Blog Hop already!!
This month our host is Joyce and the theme is "embossing anywhere, anyhow".
My image is the stunning Wedding Bouquet which I colourd with Promarkers and can be purchased here from La Pashe. For the main embossed panel I used Kassies Brocade folder which I got from Joanna Sheen and the panel down the right hand side is just a few simple lines using my Hougie Board.
Now if you're following the blog in the right order you should have arrived here from Toni's blog, and from here you need to visit Jeni and see what little masterpiece she's come up with.
In case you get lost here's the hop in the correct order:
Here's Bertha with Mycroft the cat from Just Inklined. Great card for a cat lover or a tea lover. The image is called Tea L. C. and is available here from La Pashe
Coloured with Promarkers but once again didn't make a list of which colours I used!! and the gorgeous backing paper is from the "Love Letters" paper pad by First Edition. It's got a sparkle on it but as per usual the photo doesn't do it justice.
Hope you all have a great weekend whatever you're doing xx
Back to my true love decoupage on this one. Popcorn the Bear is so versatile and suitable for any occasion. The image is from the Popcorn the Bear triple CD collection, and like the rest of my CD's, I should use it more often.
Middle of the week already, where does time go? See you soon xx
