Do not adjust your colour settings!!

Yes, this card really is this bright!! lol I wanted a card for a lady gardener I know and thought Daisy Bumblethorpe from Just Inklined was ideal.

The bright green backing paper is from a free paper pad from the Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine. I coloured her with Promarkers and actually remembered to make a list of the colours I used.

Skin: Apricot, Oatmeal and Blush
Hair: Cocoa, Caramel and Sandstone
T-shirt and Wellies: Forest Green, Pear Green, Lime Green and Lime Zest
Dress and Spade: Burnt Orange, Pumpkin, Gold and Sunflower

Hope you all have a lovely weekend and I'll be back on Monday hosting the August Just Inklined Blog Hop xx

Purple Peony

I've seen a lot of these centre step cards on my blog travels lately so thought I'd give one a go. They're very simple to make and I followed this tutorial here by Frances.

The gorgeous Peony is from Just Inklined and coloured with Promarkers. The colours used were: Aubergine, Plum, Mulberry, Pear Green, Lime Green and Lime Zest.

I'm going to Bridlington tomorrow for the day so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the rain will keep away.
Have a lovely weekend whatever you're doing xx

Summer Milly

This is another digi stamp that I've had coloured up for ages and never got round to doing anything with.

She's called "Summer Milly" and she's available from Pink Gem Designs. I can't remember the Promarker colours I used and the spotty paper is from my stash!!

Just waiting for my tea to finish cooking .. real Steak pie, chips, beans and gravy!! Yum yum lol xx

Me to You

A very quick and easy one this morning. Die-cut decoupage from the Me to You range and the backing paper is from the Henbury Lane pad.

I hope you all managed to enjoy your weekend despite the never ending rain!!

Hand Tied Lilies

These Hand Tied Lilies are one of the new images from Just Inklined.

I coloured them with Promarkers and used some contrasting coloured card. I wasn't sure about the black at first, but I think it looks quite nice. The sentiment was stamped and the whole thing was finished off with a few pearls.

Hope you're all having a great weekend whatever you're doing xx

Mad Skillz

It's been an absolute age since I made a card with the fabulous Kenny K images. I've got quite a few coloured up, just not got round to doing anything with them yet!!

This one is called Mad Skillz and she's coloured with Promarkers, but as it's such a long time since I coloured her, I haven't a clue of the colours I used!!

Have an nice evening .. I'm just waiting for my cottage pie to finish cooking .. yum yum!!! xx

21st card for Emily

I was asked to make a card for a 21st birthday and the only clue I had as to what they wanted on it was .. it had to have pink on it!!!

Well this one's certainly got pink on it. It's a beautiful glittery paper I got from the £1 shop a couple of years ago. I can't remember where the image came from but I do know it is royalty free. I did the wavy border using the romance board and the numbers were cut out with the cuttlebug. I finished off as usual with ribbon and black gems. Hope she likes it!!

Have a great weekend whatever you're doing xx

Knitting Basket

I remember my Mum's sewing/knitting basket looking like this when I was a little girl. I used to love looking in it and finding all the fancy buttons in the bottom of the basket.

The image from Just Inklined is called "Knitting Basket" and can be found here.
I coloured it with promarkers and actually made a list of the colours I used .. but guess what? .. I lost it!!! lol

See you soon xx

Red, White and Blue

Hello and welcome to this months Just Inklined Blog Hop. Our host this month is Toni and her theme choice is "Red, White and Blue".

I used the fantastic "Tea Time Set" and coloured it with Promarkers. The rest of the card is made up of just plain coloured card stock, ribbon and a few pearls.

Now just to make this hop a little more interesting, there are two hidden spot prizes on two of the design teams blogs. We're not letting you know on whose blogs the prizes can be found, but if you leave a comment on each blog and your name is chosen from one of the winning blogs, then you win the digi image showcased on the card on that particular blog.

If you're following the hop in the right order you should have arrived here from Toni and from here you need to pop over to Heidy and see what little beauty she's got in store for you.

In case you get lost, here's the hop in the correct order. Enjoy!!

I hope you all had a lovely weekend and enjoy the hop xx
