Baby Girl

A friend of mine has just found out she's expecting a baby girl so I thought this gorgeous Baby Line image from Just Inklined was perfect.

Coloured as usual with Promarkers (and Flexmarkers) and the gorgeous sparkly pink backing paper is again from the Boofle paper pack.

Hope you're having a lovely weekend whatever you're doing ... I'm just waiting for the hail stones to die down before I go shopping!!! lol

Patchwork Pals

I bought a couple of sheets of these Kanban Patchwork Pals whilst on holiday and only just got round to making a card up. This one is for a little boy I know.

Very, very simple to make up .. just cream cardstock and my hougie board for the embossed lines. Have a nice day whatever you're doing :) xx

Kitchen Shelves

I've had these shelves from Just Inklined coloured up for ages and lost them!!! Anyway I was having a tidy up yesterday and came across them again so made them up into a card.

I used a Beatrix Potter embossing folder for the top half and the bottom half backing paper is from the "Wellington" paper pack.

Hope you're all having a good weekend and can I just say Happy Fathers Day to my Dad. Love you lots xx

Picnic Basket

This lovely picnic basket is only available on "The Next Big Thing" CD from Just Inklined.

Coloured as usual with Promarkers (too many to remember!!) and the lovely spotty backing paper is from the Papermania Pastel pack which I bought when I first started making cards years back!!! The embossing is done with the centimetre side of my Hougie Board.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend whatever you're doing :) xx

Hunkydory Garden Vase

Now believe it or not since I started card making I've never bought a ready made card kit. I always start from scratch as I think it makes the card more "handmade" if you know what I mean!! lol

Anyway I was on holiday the other week and in a lovely little craft shop I found and I came across this Hunkydory Garden Vase card kit. I thought how pretty they were so bought them, brought them home and made them up.

Aren't they pretty?  They come with envelopes but I made little boxes for them and then took them to the hospice shop in the village where I live.

Hope you're all enjoying this extended Bank Holiday Weekend :) xx

Just Inklined to Hop

Hi and welcome to this months Just Inklined blog hop.
It's my turn to host this month so you're in the right place to start the hop and my chosen theme is "Embossing ... anywhere, anyhow".

For my card I chose this gorgeous rose and coloured it with Promarkers, and I think you can see which bits I've embossed!! lol

Just to make the hop a little more interesting, there are two hidden spot prizes on two of the design teams blogs. We're not letting you know on whose blogs the prizes can be found, but if you leave a comment on each blog and your name is chosen from one of the winning blogs, then you win the digi image showcased on the card on that particular blog.

So on to the hop.  From here you need to hop over to Jane and see what fabulous creation she's got in store for us. In case you get lost here's the hop in the correct order. Enjoy!!

Tulip Jug

This gorgeous Tulip Jug has got to be one of my favourite images from Just Inklined.
It was coloured with Promarkers and the colours used were:
Tulips: Rose Pink, Pink Carnation and Blossom
Leaves: Pear Green, Lime Green and Lime Zest
Jug: Burnt Sienna, Caramel and Sandstone

The lovely spotty paper is from the First Edition "Daydream" paper pad and the brown card is from my stash.

Hope you all have a fantastic bank holiday and I'll see you back here on Monday for the monthly Just Inklined blog hop :) xx
