Corner Rose

This beautiful corner rose from Just Inklined can be found on "The Next Big Thing" CD available here.

I used my Marianne Anja die for the first time and boy did I have problems getting it to do what I wanted it to!!! Got there in the end though after I'd wasted a load of card!!

I did the background scoring with my good old Hougie board.

Coloured with Promarkers as usual:

Roses: Burgundy, Crimson and Lipstick Red
Leaves: Forest Green, Apple and Meadow Green

Hope you're all having a great weekend whatever you're doing :) xx

Christmas Post Box

This lovely Christmas Post Box by Just Inklined can be found on "The Next Big Thing" CD available here.

I used the houndstooth cuttlebug folder for the top half of the embossing and my hougie board for the stripes at the bottom. Finished it off with red ribbon and Star Dust Stickles.

Hope you're all enjoying the weekend whatever you're up to :) xx

Christmas with Pickles and Podge

La Pashe have just released their latest decoupage sheets featuring the oh so cute Pickles and Podge. This one is "Bear in a Pink Box" and although the colours aren't traditional I think it makes a gorgeous Christmas card.

It's a large 8" x 8" card and I used my hougie board for the striped embossing.
I'll be back tomorrow with another of these cuties :) xx

Just Inklined to Hop

Hi and welcome to this months Just Inklined blog hop.
The theme is "Something for the Ladies" and is hosted by Tammy

I've chosen Charlotte, who looks like she's ready for Ladies Day at Royal Ascot. Coloured with Promarkers as usual and the gorgeous backing paper is from the Lucy Cromwell paper pack. The embossing was done with a folder that I've had forever and can't remember the name of .. doh!!!

Remember there are two spot prizes along the way chosen from those that leave comments on the blogs.

If you're following the hop in the right order you should have arrived here from Tammy and from here you need to hop over to the lovely Jane

Can I also mention we are holding a DT call until the 30th September, so if you think you'd like to join our team, go to the link here and let us see your mini masterpieces. Good luck!!!

Now on with the hop and in case you get lost, here it is in the correct order. Enjoy!!
