Fizzy Moon

This z-fold card was very quick and easy to make.

I used the gorgeous Fizzy Moon 3D decoupage stickers and backing papers and finished off with embossed flower panel, ribbon and pearls.

Enjoy your evening xx

Hyacinths

These gorgeous hycaniths are one of the new images from Just Inklined and available here from La Pashe.

Promarker colours used are:
Leaves: Olive Green, Pear Green, Lime Green and Lime Zest
Flowers: Violet, Bluebell and Blue Pearl
Pot: Walnut, Cinnamon and Tan

Hope you all had a lovely weekend whatever you were doing xx

Baby Love

After a friend of mine had scoured the shops looking for a "Naming Day" card, she couldn't find anything she wanted so asked for my help.

It's a first for me .. I've only done Christening cards before so didn't quite know what to do with it, but opted for this gorgeous baby image from Joanna Sheen's "Baby Love" CD. The backing paper is from my stash and finished it all off as usual with ribbon and pearls. My friend was over the moon with it but I doubt Lexi will be impressed .. she's only 4 months old!!

Corner Poppy

This beautiful image from Just Inklined is for a friend who absolutely loves poppies.
The "Corner Poppy" can be purchased here from La Pashe.

It was coloured with Promarkers (no idea what colours!! doh) and the sentiment was computer generated and mounted using my Nestie Labels (don't know which number!! doh) and then finished off with a few black beads. A very easy, peasy card to make but really pleased with the end result.

See you soon xx

Boysenberry Flower

This is one of the smallest cards I've ever made.
It's an A4 sheet cut down the middle lengthways and then folded in half again .. it's tiny!!

I used the gorgeous Papermania Capsule Boysenberry range i.e. the backing paper, the ribbon and the bow. The flower was made using co-ordinating card stock (tutorial here Jeni lol) and the leaves and scalloped border are punched. Finished off with a few pearls as usual.

Have a lovely weekend whatever you're doing xx

Flossie Bumblethorpe

Here's our Flossie from Just Inklined.
She might be ancient, but she still knows how to colour co-ordinate her clothes and accessories.

I coloured her with Promarkers and the backing paper is from my stash. Finished the whole thing off with some pearls and not a ribbon or bow in sight ... think I need a lie down!! lol
You can get your Flossie here from La Pashe.
See you soon xx

Diamond Wedding

A Diamond Wedding Anniversary card for my cousins parents. I used some absolutely stunning tapestry card and embossed the corners with a very old and battered stencil I've had for years and I used my old fashioned light box.

Finished it off with a peel off butterfly, ribbon and bow, and some sparkly gems.
Enjoy the rest of the evening whatever you're doing xx

Just Inklined Blog Hop

Where did February go? Can't believe we're onto the March Just Inklined Blog Hop already!!
This month our host is Joyce and the theme is "embossing anywhere, anyhow".

My image is the stunning Wedding Bouquet which I colourd with Promarkers and can be purchased here from La Pashe. For the main embossed panel I used Kassies Brocade folder which I got from Joanna Sheen and the panel down the right hand side is just a few simple lines using my Hougie Board.

Now if you're following the blog in the right order you should have arrived here from Toni's blog, and from here you need to visit Jeni and see what little masterpiece she's come up with.

In case you get lost here's the hop in the correct order:

Joyce
Toni
Karen (me)
Jeni
Lydia
Meesh
Debbie
Jak
Cathy

Hope you all had a good weekend whatever you were doing xx

Tea L.C.

Here's Bertha with Mycroft the cat from Just Inklined. Great card for a cat lover or a tea lover.
The image is called Tea L. C. and is available here from La Pashe

Coloured with Promarkers but once again didn't make a list of which colours I used!! and the gorgeous backing paper is from the "Love Letters" paper pad by First Edition. It's got a sparkle on it but as per usual the photo doesn't do it justice.

Hope you all have a great weekend whatever you're doing xx

Popcorn

Back to my true love decoupage on this one. Popcorn the Bear is so versatile and suitable for any occasion. The image is from the Popcorn the Bear triple CD collection, and like the rest of my CD's, I should use it more often.

Middle of the week already, where does time go?
See you soon xx

Swinging Deana

This is one of the images donated by Just Inklined for the Help for Katie cause.

To make it look like Deana was actually swinging I made a tent card using a rectangle nestie and some backing paper from the Woodland Fold paper pack. I used Promarkers to colour her in but once again can't remember which colours I used!!

Hope you've all had a good weekend xx

Bertha Bedtime

What a sight!!! No wonder she sleeps in a single bed on her own, could you imagine waking up to this every morning!! lol

Brilliant Bertha Bedtime from Just Inklined and available here from La Pashe.
I used some co-ordinating card stock and the backing paper is from an old Hot off the Press book I found the other day. Can't remember the colour of the Promarkers I used, although I do know Duck Egg and Cool Aqua were in there somewhere!! lol

Hope you're all having a good weekend whatever you're doing xx

Rose Build a Blossom

Another beautiful flower from the Build a Blossom range by La Pashe.

Made a lattice card similar to the one I made here, and the inspiration came from this fabulous blog of Valita's here. I just know that once you've logged on her blog, you'll be there for hours just marvelling at the gorgeous creations she makes. Thanks Valita xx

Have a nice evening whatever you're doing xx

Build a Blossom Iris

La Pashe have just released another set from the gorgeous "Build a Blossom" range. This is the Iris and rather than make a card, I went with a box.

It was only after I'd taken the photo and sent the box off that I realised the pearl had disappeared from the bottom right hand corner!! Oh well, perhaps no-one will notice, although now I've told the world, there's not much chance of that!! lol

Have a nice day whatever you're doing xx

Ted and Agnes

Meet Ted and Agnes, the loved up newlyweds from Just Inklined.
Just the ticket for an older couple that are getting married, or even for a young couple with a sense of humour!!

Ted and Agnes were coloured with Promarkers and are available from La Pashe for an amazing £1!!!
The gorgeous grey floral backing paper is one of Jak's own (I think!!) and I couldn't find a suitable shade of pink in my cardstock so I made my own using Greeting Card Factory.

Hope you all had a good weekend and see you soon xx

Flowers for Mags

I was asked to make a card by a gentleman for his partner of 10 years but he couldn't find anything suitable in the shops. The only instructions I got were "She likes purple flowers and I call her sweetheart"!!

Fred's Flowers to the rescue. I love these flowers so much, and I'm sure Mags will love them as well.

Hope you're all having a good weekend whatever you're doing xx

Red Roses

These beautiful red roses and matching backing paper are from Joanna Sheen's "The Cardmaker's Year", just one of the many, many CD's I have and never use.

This is a large 8" x 8" card and it made a lovely change from all the wedding stationery I've been doing.
See you soon xx

Just Inklined Blog Hop

Welcome to this month's blog hop from Just Inklined
With Valentine's Day just around the corner, the theme is "LOVE" and was chosen by Cathy.

For my card I chose Audrey and Aubery who may not be your typical love birds, but they look very happy together!! They were coloured with Promarkers. the heart border is a Martha Stewart punch, and the gorgeous heart backing paper is courtesy of our very own Jak. The sentiment was computer generated and I hope you get the intended pun!! Audrey and Aubery can be purchased here.

If you're on the right track you should have arrived here from Toni and from here you should pop over to see Jeni and see what fantastic creation she's come up with. We also have Meesh with us this month as Guest Designer. Lovely to have you with us Meesh.

Enjoy the hop and in case you get lost, here's the list in the correct order:

I've got an award (twice)

I've been awarded this award not once but twice, and the two lovely ladies who nominated me are Angela and Val. Thank you so much both of you. It means a lot.

In accepting the award I've had to agree to the following conditions:-

1) You have been tagged, do you want to accept? YES! then create a post on your blog and post the love blog photo.

2) Link back to the person who gave you the award and say if you accept.

3) Choose 3-5 of your favourite blogs to tag, link these in your post too and tell the lucky people they have been tagged.

As the aim of this award is to bring unknown good blogs to light, please don't tag somebody with 3000 followers.

I nominate the following blogs for this award, although there are lots of lovely blogs out there which I enjoy reading, but I'm afraid I can't pick them all!

Lynne
Debbie

Wishing You Well

This is for someone who is not feeling too good at the moment, but rather than send a typical "Get Well" card, I thought I'd do something different. This wishing well from Just Inklined was just what I was after, and the sentiment says it all. The image can be purchased here.

I used my new Woodgrain embossing folder and the backing paper is from the Woodland Folk A4 paper pack. I used my Promarkers to colour it in, and the colours used are: Warm Grey 1, Tan, Satin, Walnut, Cinnamon, Sandstone, Pear Green and Lime Zest.

See you soon xx
