Popcorn the Bear

I've been wanting this triple CD set of Popcorn the Bear for ages so when Santa brought it me I was a very happy bunny.
I know I've used the same layout as the last three cards I've made but I love making them and I enjoy deciding which colour combinations to use.
Can I just take this opportunity to wish you all a very Happy and Prosperous New Year and I'd like to thank those of you who visit my blog and leave me comments .. very much appreciated.
Happy New Year everyone xxx

For Samantha

Here's the miniature version of the one I made for Mum and Dad. It's for my little girl Samantha ... well when I say little .. she is 22!!!
I love this style of card .. they're so easy to do. I keep saying to myself that I'll have to have a go at an easel card but not got round to it yet ... watch this space!
Bye for now xx

For Mum and Dad

Only one more Christmas card to make after this one and I've done for this year!!
This is a large 8" x 8" and I've used the Forever Friends range (again!!) and the gorgeous glitter paper is from a pad by Craftime and comes in all different colours. The pic doesn't do it justice .. it's really, really sparkly in real life!!
I'm just finishing off a miniature version of this card for Samantha in blue so I'll post that as soon as it's done.
Well I must get my skates on .. got a whole load of Christmas present shopping still to do and going on Trev's works do tonight so need to get back in good time to try and make myself look beautiful!!!
Hope you all have a lovely weekend and I'll see you later xxx

50th Birthday Card

Couldn't wait to make this one ... such a refreshing change from all the Christmas cards I've had to make!!! The beautiful flower (not a clue what it is as per usual lol) is from one of the many Cupcake Crafting CD's I have.
Hope you're all having a lovely weekend xx

Christmas is coming!! (far too quickly!!!)

I really, really need to get a wriggle on now. Can't believe how Christmas has crept up on me this year .. usually fairly organised, but for some reason this year I've done nothing!!! Still got loads of my own Christmas cards to make, plus loads of orders, plus 21st birthday invitations!!!! One day I will learn to keep my mouth well and truly shut ... or at least say NO nicely!!
Anyway back to my card .. yes another FF bear, but I think these little fellas are so versatile and can be used for any occasion and for any age. Got to use my new SU punch on this one, and finished with my usual ribbons, bows and pearls.
Sees ya xx

And another

Can you tell I've got loads of Forever Friends stuff!!! This is a die cut decoupage image .. makes a nice change from cutting them out, although to be honest I do like cutting out .. probably in the minority I think!!!
I used my new Fiskars Daisy border punch and finished off with punched flowers, gems and ribbon.
Hope you all had a good weekend xx

In Memory of Layton

As a few of you may already be aware, Jak at Crafters Kitchen, recently lost her little great nephew Layton to meningitis.
Please read her story here, and maybe you can help a little towards fundraising for the Meningitis Search 4 a Vaccine Campaign.
Thank you and sleep well little Layton xx

My very first Halloween card!!!!!

Hard to believe but I've never, ever made a Halloween card in all the four years I've been cardmaking!! Never been asked to do one so never bothered .. but darling daughter Samantha asked for one this year so couldn't wait to make one!!!
Used a Pumpkin and Aubergine sticker (from the Daisy & Dandelion range), oval and labels nesties, SU oval punches, computer generated sentiment and finished it all off with the usual ribbon and pearls.
Hope you all have a great weekend xx

What is this flower??

As per usual I haven't got the foggiest idea what the flower is .. but it's lovely. It's yet another die-cut decoupage sheet and the gorgeous backing paper is from the Papermania Signature range "Blueberry Hill". Finished with pearls and ribbon and used my new Fiskars punch that I bought at the weekend.
Enjoy your evening xx
And finally ...

My favourite of them all .. I just love the colours and everything on this one.
Just stuck a bit of blue spotty paper on the front of the card and finished with white ribbon, couple of punched snowflakes and a bow!! Simples!!
Have a nice day xx

What an honour!!

Guess what??? I've only been asked to be a Guest Designer by Boni of the Digital Ink Co. which in itself is amazing as I don't do colouring much, I'm more a decoupage girl as you all know, but unfortunately I've had to make the hard decision of turning the position down as I know I won't be able to commit myself at this time .. I've got too many projects on the go at the moment.
So thanks a million Boni and Jackie (the sly little beggar that put my name forward) and maybe one day in the future when I've nothing to do (yeah right) I might get the chance again!!
Have a nice weekend everybody xxx

"We Wish You A Merry Christmas"

and the inside

This is the first of another set of sheets from the Flippin' Christmas range.
The music notes and carol titles were printed onto white card for the top half and the bottom half is some gorgeous red glitter card, all finished off with a good old peel off border!!!
Check out Jak, and Toni's blogs for more examples and visit the La Pashe website for your nearest stockist.
Bye for now xx

Fred's Flowers

Not made a card with Tracey's flowers for ages, so when I saw this new sheet on her blog I couldn't resist it ... it's stunning!!! At the moment she only has it in blue but with enough encouragement and feedback she may do it in more colours!!! Pleeeease Tracey!! lol, oh and the pinstripe background is also from Tracey!!
I printed it onto 180gsm glossy paper and assembled it with silicone so I could mould the flowers easily. Sentiment is computer generated and I finished the whole thing off with MS doily punch, ribbon, bow and white pearls.

Below is a close up the gorgeous flowers.

Have a nice evening and bye for now xx

This another die-cut flower from the imag-e-nation shop. Not made it for anyone in particular, but I'm sure it will come in handy for someone at some point.
The backing paper is from the Papermania "A Wonderful Christmas Time", and used my MS doily punch and SU oval punches again!!!
Hope you've all had a good weekend xxx

Navy and White

Used my new Stampin' Up Scalloped Oval punches and my new Martha Stewart border punch, the die cut flower is one I got from the imag-e-nation shop a couple of years ago and finished it off with ribbon and pearls as usual.

The Angel Gabriel and The Three Wise Men

Another two samples from the brand new Flippin' Christmas range from La Pashe.
Kept these very simple. Used blue glitter card and white peel offs for the Angel Gabriel, and for The Three Wise Men I found some beautiful textured paper I've had hiding in my stash for years and thought the colour was just perfect.
I'll have the fourth and final one to show you tomorrow so if you're passing please come and have a look.
Have a nice day xxx
