Red Rose

I love this rose from Just Inklined. I previously coloured it in pink, but went for red this time.
The gorgeous embossed frame is from Craftwork cards, and I thought it looked perfect with the rose.

The promarkers I used are:
Roses: Antique Pink, Crimson and Burgundy
Leaves: Meadow Green, Apple and Forest Green

Ooops, nearly forgot, the rose digi stamp can be found here.

James - Trick or Treat

Here's James from Just Inklined all dressed up and ready to go Trick or Treating.
I hope he comes to our house this year, because every year I buy hundreds of sweets and choccies and nobody ever comes knocking on our door and we end up eating them all ourselves!!
James can be found here.

The backing paper is from Donna at Bearly Mine Designs and a Stampin' Up border punch was used on the strip of white card.

Promarkers used on James are:
Hat, Stick and Shoes: Ice Grey 1, 3 and 5
Pumpkin, Moon and Stars: Amber, Pumpkin and Burnt Orange
Clothes: Orchid and Purple
Skin: Blush, Oatmeal and Apricot

Now I don't normally enter challenges but came across loads of sites with "Halloween" as the theme so I thought why not enter James.

Spoonful of Sugar - Boo
Creative Inspirations - Spooky
Sisterhood of Crafters - Halloween
Fab n' Funky - Things that go bump in the night
Ellephantistic - Halloween
Stamping for the Weekend - Halloween/Fall
Creative Cottage - Halloween

Christmas Robins

I couldn't decide how to mount these beautiful Robins up (from Just Inklined) when I'd finished colouring them in. I was originally going to go with a traditional Christmas card, but ended up being a bit dramatic and going with black and red.

The black glitter card is absolutely gorgeous in real life, but as per usual the photo doesn't do it justice. I couldn't use a punch on it so had to resort to my good old Romance embossing board to do the scalloped edge.
Sorry I can't remember the Promarker colours I used, but I do know I used my blender pen for the very first time on the robins red breasts!!
The Christmas Robins can be found here.

Have a lovely weekend whatever you're doing xxx

I used one of the nesties labels (can't remember which number) for the frame, the dp is from my stash and the embossed background is the random dot folder

Promarkers used are:
Hat and Trousers: Amber, Pumpkin and Burnt Orange
Coat: Duck Egg, Turquoise, Marine and Petrol
Skin: Blush, Oatmeal and Apricot
Grass: Forest Green and Apple
Wood: Walnut and Cinnamon

Professor Hoot

I love owls and this little chap is so sweet.
He's from Just Inklined and can be purchased here.

The gingham paper is from Papermania Capsule Collection and the brown card has actually got a shiny finish to it but the photo doesn't pick it up.

Coloured in with Promarkers as usual and the colours I used are:
Owl: Satin, Cinnamon and Walnut
Eyes, Beak and Feet: Mango, Pumpkin and Burnt Orange
Leaves: Meadow Green, Apple and Forest Green

See you soon xx

Christmas Chapel

Last one for now from the fabby Trinitage collection from La Pashe.
Christmas Chapel can be purchased here

I love the colours on this, and rather than go with the traditional Christmas colours I chose a pinky/peach glitter paper to go with the beautiful sky.
See you all soon xx

Honeysuckle

Beautiful honeysuckle digi image from Just Inklined which can be purchased here.
The delicious backing paper is from Marianne design Pink Eline's Babies. I've also got the blue pad but not got round to using it yet.

I coloured the honeysuckle with my Promarkers and the colours I used are:
Flowers: Ivory, Vanilla, Almond, Pale Pink and Cocktail Pink
Leaves: Meadow Green, Apple and Forest Green

It was Samantha's 23rd birthday today, so we had a lovely day out in York and just finished it off with a take-away ... perfect!!

Poinsettia Cottage

La Pashe have just released their brand new set of Trinitage sheets.
I thought the first set were gorgeous but I love these even more!!
Poinsettia Cottage can be purchased here.

A very simple card to make up, just used a bit of glitter card, some red backing paper, snowflake punch and coloured a strip of white ribbon in with my Promarkers because I didn't have any red ribbon to match the card.

Have a nice day whatever you're doing xx

A bit like Marmite!!!

Bookatrix!! You either love 'em or hate 'em lol!
I was specifically asked to make this one and although I don't really enjoy doing them I was pleased with how it turned out.

I decoupaged the rose which is again from the one of the beautiful Cupcake Crafting CD's and finished it all off with peel offs, ribbon and pearls.
Have a nice weekend whatever you're doing xx
