Another award and another new card

Firstly, thanks to Jackie for awarding me with the Brillante Award ... not gonna have enough room on my mantlepiece if I get nominated again. Seriously though .... thanks J. I know I'm supposed to nominate seven other people but I think everyone I know has already been awarded it so I'll nominate everyone!!!

While I'm here, this is a card I made for a lady at work who wants three cards making for the same person. I've already done one ... this is the second ... just one more to do and she wants them all by tomorrow ... so I'd better get my finger out.

Thanks Nikky for the image ... not sure if she's a fairy or an angel but whatever she is .. she's gorgeous.

Right best get myself off to finish the third one ... if I get time to take a piccy of it before I take it into work tomorrow ... I'll post it on here.

Last one ... for now!!

I'm wearing these poor flowers out .... but they're so irresistable I can't keep my hands of them!!!

But I suppose I'd better take a break and go and find something else to play with. Perhaps I'll have a go at stamping .... but don't hold your breath. Last time I did any stamping was when I used to cut a potato in half and carve a little shape in it!!!! (Remember that?)

So watch this space ....

Fred's Flowers (again)!!

Can't get enough of these gorgeous flowers at the moment. Again this is for no-one in particular, I haven't even put a sentiment on it, but thinks it looks nice as it is.

The flowers are just printed out on 160 gsm paper, mounted on cream cardstock, and used cuttlebug swiss dots and little pearls to finish off.

Don't believe this!!!!

I've been nominated again with the Brillante Award not once but twice by Jak and Jean and been tagged (again) by Liz.
Thank you so, so much ladies .. it's an honour!!

Can't think of anyone to nominate at the mo as everyone has been nominated (what a talented bunch of people we are!!!) and the tag questions are the same apart from the 5 things to do today which are:
1. Try not to cry when Samantha goes off to London for weekend with friends (she's back on Monday but boy will I miss her!!!
2. Remember to feed Sam's rabbit while she's away!!!
3. Make three cards to take into work on Monday.
4. Take chicken out of freezer
5. Only have ONE glass of wine!!!

While I'm on here might as well show you my latest card made with Tracey's brilliant flowers and backing sheets.

Absolutely love them and will add another one tomorrow when I can get a good piccy of it.

This is for no-one in particular but loved the colours so much thought I'd make it up and put it in my "just in case" box.

Thanks Tracey (or should I say Fred)!!!

I needed to make a birthday card for a lady who loves lilac flowers but not lilac itself ... if you know what I mean. Looked in my stash ... couldn't find anything that took my fancy .. then remembered Traceys blog ... or should I say Fred, She Said's blog. Found exactly what I was looking for and hey presto ... lilac flowers and not a lilac in sight!!! LOL

Off to make a couple more in different colours to put in my emergency box so I'll post them on here when I've done them and taken piccies.

CHRISTENING CARD FOR MICHAEL

One of our drivers at work (Maria) came in yesterday and asked me if I could make a card for her grandsons Christening next week. No problem says I, is that for Sunday 13th July ... no 6th July she says!!! That's this Sunday Maria!!!
Oh.... so it is she says ... never mind I'll buy one in town says she says. So we left it at that.

Couldn't let her down could I ... she's a lovely lady and she had me making all her wedding invitations last year ... so even though I have four cards still to make between now and Saturday tea time ... I made this for her (thanks Nikky for the baby image). She was over the moon and soooo grateful. Makes it all worthwhile don't it?

Oh and while we're on the subject here are the wedding invitations I made for her.

This is her third marriage and he is twenty two years her junior ... everyone says it won't last ... pessimists or what!!!

If they're happy and they love each other ... what's the problem??

WOW!!! LOOK WHAT I GOT!!

Thank you so much Bev. What an honour!!

Now I need to pass this on to the blogs that inspire me, the rules for this award:
1. The winner can put the logo on her blog.
2. Link the person you received your award from.
3. Nominate at least 7 other blogs.
4. Put links of those blogs on yours.
5. Leave a message on the blogs you've nominated.

I can't nominate 7 as most of the one's I was going to award it to have
already been nominated so here's the list I'd like to nominate it to.
Brilliant blogs ladies!!!

Card for Cameron

This is for a little boy who isn't born yet!!!

Just hope they definitely have a boy, they definitely call him Cameron and they spell it like this ... otherwise????

Used one of my many Morehead sheets (that I'd forgotten I had), the cuttlebug swiss dots and Olivia alphabet and my new circle nestabilities. The flowers are a daisy punch and then I embellished them with little white pearls.

Think I can see a cutting out session coming on ... I've about 20 or so Morehead sheets that need to be used .... forgot how lovely they are .... so if all I post on my blog in the next few months are cards made with cute little girls and boys .... you know why!!!
