Purple Magnolia

I coloured this gorgeous Magnolia image from Just Inklined in purple because I loved the colour, then realised there probably wasn't such a thing as a purple magnolia, but to my relief after doing a google search, there is such a thing!!! lol

I coloured it in with Promarkers and also coloured the ribbon and pearls which started life as white, the corners were done with a Stampin' Up corner punch and the embossed background was done using a score board.

Colours used are:
Flowers: Aubergine, Purple and Orchid
Leaves: Pear Green, Lime Green and Lime Zest

See you soon xx

Colourful Cupcakes

Cupcakes seem to be the fashion at the moment, even wedding cakes are being made out of them, but unfortunately I don't particularly like them. I love looking at them, but as I haven't got a sweet tooth I don't eat them!!!

I loved colouring them in though and this great image from Just Inklined called "High Tea" can be found here.
The cupcake backing paper is from the DCWV pad "The Sweet Stack", and the border is done using the good old Romance board from the Glitter Girls.

Hope you're all enjoying your weekend xx

Black and Gold

I love the Forever Friends bears and this little chap is from the "Black and Gold" range.

The little bear is a ready made decoupage topper and the backing paper is from the Black and Gold pad. The dots are actually shiny gold but the photo doesn't pick it up too well.
Finished off with the usual ribbon and pearls and the border was done using a fiskars border punch.

Have a nice day whatever you're doing xx

Book Box Card

I've seen a few of these book box cards on my blog hopping travels and knew I had to try making one myself. To be quite honest they're so much easier than I thought they'd be and for a first attempt I'm really pleased with it.

There are quite a few tutorials up and down but the one I used and found the easiest was from Bonnie's blog here. Thanks Bonnie x
The backing paper is from Marianne Design Eline's Babies Blue pad. The roses are handmade using a Woodware punch and the leaves are punched with a Leone Em punch.

That's it for now, have a nice day xx

Flower Power

Hiya and welcome to this month's Just Inklined blog hop. Our host this month is Debbie and her theme choice is "Flower Power".

The gorgeous peony image can be found here and I coloured it in with Promarkers (can't remember colours as usual!!). The delicious sparkly backing paper is from DCWV "The Sweet Stack" and the flowers and leaves are punched.

If you're following the hop in the right order you should have arrived here from Toni and from here you need to pop over to Cathy and see what little beauty she's got in store for you.

In case you get lost here's the hop in the correct order. Enjoy!!
